Welcome to Pelikan Model Club!

Thank you for visiting the Pelikan Model Club website. Our Club has been around since the early 70s, and we are the oldest IPMS (International Plastic Modeling Society) Chapter in Florida covering the Greater Tampa area. IPMS was formed in England in the early 60s and now is a Worldwide organization. We are a very diverse group, with every aspect of scale modeling represented, from aviation and automotive to armor and space. All skill levels and interests are welcome. 

Our meetings are very informal and usually last about 2 hours. 

A typical meeting starts with IPMS national and regional news, followed by club business and any other topic that needs to be discussed. 

After these items are taken care of we have a model "Show and Tell". We usually have a theme award and model of the month. On any given month we will have full build presentations, in-progress reports, tips, and technique demonstrations. After the meeting, for those who care to join, we go to a nearby restaurant for food and refreshment. 

The Pelikan Model Club meets the third Monday of each month at: Veterans Funeral Care 830 N. Belcher Rd. Clearwater, FL 33765

Meetings begin at 7:00 PM and typically adjourn around 9:00 PM.
