Star Wars: 50 Years of the Galaxy Far, Far Away
Celebrate five decades of Star Wars with special awards honoring the creativity, craftsmanship, and imagination inspired by one of the greatest science-fiction sagas of all time. Entries may feature iconic characters, vehicles, spacecraft, dioramas, scenes, or original interpretations from across the galaxy. May the Force—and your modeling skills—be with you!
Best Factory Stock Vehicle
Awarded to the model that best captures the look, character, and authenticity of a car straight from the factory. This award celebrates exceptional attention to detail in stock appearance, finish, trim, stance, and presentation—no customizations required, just beautifully executed factory originality.
BEYOND THE BOX (Creative Conversion • Kitbashing • Scratchbuilding)
Open to all modeling categories. This Special Award recognizes a modeler who has created a unique subject that is not commercially available as a complete kit in the configuration presented. Eligible models should demonstrate substantial transformation—generally at least 50% of the finished subject through kitbashing, major conversion, scratchbuilding, or modeler-created 3D-printed components. Conventional aftermarket accessories alone do not constitute kitbashing.
Entrants must provide a brief "Beyond the Box" description identifying the base kit(s), major components used from other kits, scratch-built or modeler-created components, and significant modifications. Photos, sketches, or other reference material showing the transformation are encouraged but not required.
Judges will consider originality, creativity, degree of transformation,
craftsmanship, and execution when selecting the winner.
Trophy Sponsorships
